Women’s Handgun Safety and Training – Extended Day March 2021
March 7 @ 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm$40
Come join COFA for Handgun Safety and Training
Due to Demand, a second session has been added for March 7, 2021.
COFA is excited to announce the COFA Women’s Outreach Handgun Safety and Training Program. The mission for this program is to educate women on safe and accurate shooting as well as provide for attendees to earn the Colorado Concealed Carry permit. (For Colorado residents 21 and older)
Learning to shoot is simple, but not easy. There is a lot to learn but understanding safety and basic marksmanship is the best place to start.
Many women come into gun ownership with the primary purpose of protecting themselves. COFA welcomes you to the mindset of becoming your own first responder by carrying a handgun and taking charge of your personal safety and the safety of your loved ones.
This program will give you the know how to safely handle and shoot your handgun so you can obtain not only the training but a certificate to attach to your concealed carry application with the state of Colorado.
One of COFA’s own, is the instructor with over 35 years of experience. Kevin Bellamy, a retired police chief and certified federal firearms instructor, is coming from the COFA Chapter in Kansas to provide you all with this valuable training. Sign up now to make sure you have a seat for this class as space is limited and will fill up fast!
Be sure to join us on March 7, 2021, from 12pm to 6pm at the COFA Green Barn, 8660 South Fairall Road, CO 80465. The suggested donation of the entire course is $40 (which is a real steal!).
You may provide your donation online at time of registration or at the door on the day of the event (no checks please, cash or credit/debit card).
Please bring a notepad with writing implement and snacks for breaks.
