There are some big bulls all over the west, just wondering how many of the big ones live in Colorado. The stats show Colorado has several of them.

I really need to sign up for an Elk hunt. The price tag is just to much for me.

Being the Scotsman that I am, I have to look at the $ and ask which state is the best bang for the buck (pun intended). Colorado has more opportunities to shoot (big herd #s) and is in the bottom 1/3 for pricetag. That makes it top in my book. Then again, I live here, so I may be a little biased.

well, I would agree with you about me and Davey and Daniel...they didn't face the things like I do...splinters on the deck, cold noses from buck and Lucy...and the radio not being loud enough to hear while you sun yourself....oh, well...such as life...elk jerky anyone!
