Well guy's,

I have one more call I would like to get your feed back on. This was an experiment with a two piece design. If you would, take a look and let me know what you think.

Fourthwind, there is nothing I would like more, but I don't know ANYTHING about goose calls.

Nothing really different than what you are doing now really. Just different barrel and insert throat diameters.

Let me do some study on it and see what I can come up with. It will probably be several weeks down the road though.

If you want to give it a try, let me know. I can give you some measurements of my acrylic calls. I have some spare gut sets that I can throw into it and see if it will tune. Then I will have to have you out for a Colorado goose hunt

This can get you started with waterfowl calls. Go to Coloradowaterfowl.com and send a PM to Wade C. He's made a business out of turning custom calls and has a book out as well, also sells custom mandrels, guts, etc for call making. Really nice guy. Here's his website
http://www.webfootcustomcalls.com/
That should get you started!!! I have dibs on the first one that works and sounds good!!!

You outta try making a cow call, would be nice to try something out like that. Your call looks great, how does it sound? Have you used it yet?

Thank you Mike! Cow call? That might be pretty interesting!

I like the sound a lot better than most of the production calls I've been using. I personally haven't used it yet, but I plan too. I've built quite a few different style calls for several people recently, so this season should be a pretty good test. I'm hoping to get some reports from the guys of fur down.

You are a gifted man, how long did it take to make your call? Great photo as well.

I don't think I have much talent, but I sure have a good time building them. That was one of my first calls and I think it took a couple of evenings.

These are a couple of my more recent calls, and some of my favorites:
