Vocals work best! :grin:

But large prey distress work very well too. fawn, deer, goat, etc. Cougar approach with different attitudes. (I did a whole CD tutorial on this, and I make and tune a hand call for Juvenile vocals.) If you're hand calling, especially distress, it's best to have more than one set of eyes looking more than one direction. (No e-calls in CO as I recall.) They'll typically stalk a distress call, where they'll be much less careful coming in too a vocal and may even call back to it.
