Alaska Brown Bear Hunt.

Big Game / Dangerous Game.

Beautiful country in this video. It took three shots to bring this bear down and two of the shots appeared to be in the lung area (vitals).

I'm not a bear hunter or trophy hunter. I simply eat what I kill. I've gone bear hunting by invitations with friends and learned a few things. It's far better to be over gunned than undergunned and you should always go with a backup. It's always wise to keep your distance from the bear when shooting. I've heard of hunters who got to within 50 yards of shooting this prey and even shot him in the vitals, only to have this bear on them within seconds. Even though you may hit vitals it always seems that it will take a few rounds to bring him down.

And it's not a bad idea to take a quick refresher study of this animals amatomy

I haven't gone bear hunting that much, but the limited time I've seen of them and some of the stories I heard is that, there one dangerous critter and precautions must be taken.

I have hunted plenty of black bear and have done very well, taken a nice bear on my place, but the grizz, that's one of my dream hunts! You should join us on the COFA Elk hunt, you can always get a bear tag, and have some fun!

What an awesome film. It looked cold and windy, but I bet neither one of those guys felt the cold or wind after spotting the Brown bear. Good Job..
