Word of the Day, July 10, 2018

“ If the stars were made to worship so will I. If the mountains bow in reverence so will I. If the oceans roar Your greatness so will I. For if everything exists to lift You high so will I. If the wind goes where You send it so will I. If the rocks cry out in silence so will I. If the sum of all our praises still falls shy then we'll sing again a hundred billion times.”

Galatians 6:6-10

6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

The way I describe these next few verses is about our spiritual actions and reactions. We are to be taught be the preachers and the teachers are to sustain those that instruct them. We are to reciprocate to each other. We need to have benevolence towards each other.

Be not deceived, GOD is NOT to be mocked. Mock GOD and you will reap what you sow. Men often believe that they are just living their lives, but are really mocking GOD. At times I have watch Bill Maher show in the past just to see what the other side talks about and non-believes and he often mocks GOD and the only thing I can do beside turn it off is to pray for his soul. He is planting vile seeds and waters them on his show against GOD and if he does not change, he will reap death for eternity.

This country is falling apart daily. We are fighting among ourselves; we are taking GOD out of our lives from the gov’t to even our churches. Marriage is not what GOD planned from the beginning, sexual freedoms are destroying us, killing of people all over this country, abortions are killing millions of unborn babies, political parties are more important than following the Word of GOD, drugs are destroying families daily, porno is rampant, GOD’s people have forgotten how to take care of those in need and to preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ no matter what the cost is to us. These may be harsh word to some, but these are against GOD's Words and against His plans for mankind.

The flesh, our corrupt nature is what we destroy when we sow to our flesh, our sinful desires and passions. This will reap us death, however if we sow to the spirit, we shall have eternal life with GOD our Father. Is it worth giving up on our fleshly desires? I think so and try every day to listen and be lead by the Comforter within my soul. I desire to reap the final harvest of life everlasting.

We need to have perseverance in our well doing and lack of the temptation of sin in our lives. I am promised eternal life in Heaven with my LORD and Saviour and strive each and every day that I am led by the Spirit and not my flesh. It is only a matter of time before Christians shall reap divine rewards, then we are not to be weary in our well doings. We are to seize each and every opportunity to do good, to help with spreading the word of restoration, bearing one and another’s burdens, supporting teachers of the Word, sowing to (living in accord with the leading of) the spirit and general perseverance.

As Christians, we are to minister first unto them who are of the household of faith and second, to the rest of the world. Reach out to believers today, love, encourage, pray, read GOD’s Word together, hold each other accountable and minister to them. Build each other up in the Word of GOD so that we can go unto the world and share the gift of salvation to the rest of our world, one person at a time, in our homes, our schools, our workplace, across the street, across the town, across our state, across our nation and across the world.

I would like you to read verse 11: Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with my own hand.” Paul is stating that he wants the Galatians to understand how important what he is writing himself. He states that he wrote a large letter or some believe that he took the pen from the stenographer/amanuensis and wrote the last paragraph in his own writing. It must have meant something to make a point to tell the Galatians this. Paul wrote this for all Christians even today.

Paul says, “let us do good.” Let’s make this important to us today. Christ is first, not after everything else in our lives but first. Build up our brothers and sisters in Christ and go and share the Word of GOD in your “Jerusalem” and to “the outer most parts of the world.”

“ There's a war between guilt and grace and they're fighting for a sacred space but I'm living proof, Grace wins every time. No more lying down in death's defeat now I'm rising up in victory singing, Hallelujah. Grace wins every time.”
